Education and Qualifications

I was raised in New Guinea, became dux of a GPS school in Australia, attended University and obtained a degree in Pure Mathematics and Theory of Statistics. I gained a University Medal, and went on to study Natural Therapies over the ensuing years, which led to a brief period at University again studying Medicine. I let that go as too regimented, and as my interests were more in the region of subtle energies, zero-point energies, alternative energies and the like, along with some interest in Eastern energetic philosophies and their offshoots, such as Acupuncture (in which I trained and became qualified) and Aikido, a Japanese martial art and energy development discipline in which I gained a black belt. Further training included Energy Psychology and related disciplines, all of which I have employed in a consultative practice for some years. However, my interests also extend to computers, web marketing, digital publishing, and the like and I follow developments in certain areas of science and business very closely. I also find myself very interested in trading/investing in particular areas and there is increasing success there too.

I have always been interested in invention and innovation, and have also developed a number of products related to natural therapies which have beneficial effects on the human system. These include a system for energizing water, devices to reduce the effects of electromagnetic radiation and other environmental influences, and so on. These can be installed in houses and offices to improve the working and home environment, as discussed on this site.

Other Subjects of special interest and knowledge

 

1. Computers/IT

Website development and maintenance, web-based documentation. Desktop publishing, multimedia, publication – disk-based and paper-based. General computer skills and keyboard skills, including touch typing, databases, accounting, spreadsheets, word processing, and numerous other computer skills.

 

2. Technical Writing

Preparation of manuals in a variety of fields (IT, health, science, technology, etc.).

 

3. Research Skills

Skills in research in many areas, web-based and otherwise. Preparation of reports. Recent reports in progress include an overview of alternative methods of dealing with degenerative disease.

 

4. Science and Technology

Being scientifically trained, I've maintained my interest and reading in these areas to remain scientifically literate, and have a particular interest in the philosophical underpinnings of Science and Technology.

 

5. Education

As a teacher of a number of subjects (mathematics, English, EFL, physical instruction, etc.) to various ages from primary to adult I have a good grasp of training and instruction.

 

6. Medicine 

With training and experience in both western and eastern medicine and their philosophies, I have a keen interest in this area.

 

7. Mathematics and statistics

I have a particular interest in the theoretical aspects of mathematics and how it interfaces with science and technology in general.

 

8. Martial Arts and Eastern Philosophies

I have trained in Aikido and have a black belt in Ki Training, Chi Kung style application of Aikido, and relate this to my training and experience in Acupuncture and other bodywork training I have done.

 

9. Natural therapies

I have trained quite extensively in the areas of Acupuncture, energy psychology, bodywork and so forth, and continue to research various applications of the ‘energy model’ to healing and living.
